At the first Hospitality Heroes mixer, which took place on June 27, front-line employees from various businesses across Adams County not only got to network with each other, but got to interact with many of the National Riding Stables' rescue horses. "Our first mixer went well. Attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the National Riding Stables and what they offer our visitors," said Donna White, Director of Member Services. "Everyone loved being introduced to many of the horses and feeding them carrots." Those who attended the event were entered to win a Sheetz gift card and given a voucher for a free ride at the National Riding Stables. The next mixer for Hospitality Heroes will be in August with more information to come soon on GettysburgTourismWorks.com. Hospitality Heroes events are designed to provide an opportunity for front-line employees to meet their peers in the tourism community and learn first-hand about Adams County's popular attractions. >> Check out the slideshow from National Riding Stables
