Gettysburg named a Top 5 destination

For the second year in a row, the readers of Groups Today magazine named Gettysburg one of the Top 5 destinations in the Eastern United States, the latest issue announced. 
 
The designation was made as part of the trade magazine's Reader's Choice Awards, where its readers - mostly operators of group travel companies - voted on the top destinations in each region.
 
Gettysburg was joined by New York City - the top destination - as well as Atlantic City, N.J.; Cape Cod, Mass.; and Providence, R.I.
 
Groups Today Magazine also named Gettysburg's Courtyard by Marriott Hotel the top hotel in the Eastern United States for a second straight year.
